Welcome to the Middlesex Senior Cup previous finals page of Come on you ETs, an unofficial site of Enfield Town Football Club
This page contains some information about Enfield Town Football Club and previous finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup.

Finals

Hendon

Hendon has won the Middlesex Senior Cup no less than fifteen times. After winning it for the twelfth time in 1999, when they required a penalty shoot out competition to defeat Wembley, they had to wait until 2002 before winning it again, but then succeeded three times in a row.

Enfield

Enfield has won the Middlesex Senior Cup fourteen times. The first time was as long ago as 1914, breaking Southall's run of three wins in a row.

Southall

Southall first won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1908. They then won it three years in a row from 1911 to 1913, and again from 1923 to 1925, although in 1924 they shared the trophy with Botwell Mission, who are nowadays known as Hayes. They have won it twelve times altogether, the last time being in 1955.

Wealdstone

Wealdstone won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1930, 1938, and then three times in a row from 1941 to 1943 during a period in which many footballers were more concerned with military matters. They won it again in 1946, 1959, 1963, 1964, 1968 and 1985. That makes a total of eleven wins.

Hayes

When Hayes first won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1920, they were called Botwell Mission. They retained the trophy in 1921, and won it again in 1924, shared with Southall, and 1926, breaking Southall's run of three wins. By the time they won it again in 1931, they had changed their name to Hayes. Futher wins followed in 1936, 1940, 1950, 1982, 1996 and 2000, making ten wins altogether.

Uxbridge

Uxbridge first won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1894, and they won it again in 1896. After a patient wait, a further success followed in 1951, and another in 2001. The next wait for a further win will probably be shorter.

Edgware Town

Edgware Town won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1948. They needed extra time, as the score after 90 minutes was 0-0. The final score against Enfield, winners the previous season, was 2-1.

Yeading

Yeading first won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1992, winning 2-1 against Wembley at Hendon. They won it again in 1995, beating Staines Town 2-0, and again in 2005, beating Hampton and Richmond Borough 2-1.

Northwood

Northwood won the Middlesex Senior Cup for the first time in 2007, winning 4-2 on penalties against Hayes, following a 1-1 draw after extra time.

Staines Town

Staines Town first won the Middlesex Senior Cup in 1975, and they also won it in 1976 and 1977 for three wins on the trot. They went on to win it again in 1988, 1990, 1994, 1997, 2010 and 2011 to bring their total up to nine.

Enfield Town

Enfield Town reached the semi-final in their first season, 2001-2.
