JETS Sponsors - The Haringey Sports Development JETS, the club for younger supporters of Enfield Town Football Club, is sponsored by Haringey Sports Development. On 25th June 2001, The Football Foundation announced a grant of £23,759 to Haringey Sports Development. This award enabled the organisation club to launch a football development programme in the borough (Haringey, of course, not Enfield). In welcoming this award Lord Pendry, Chairman of the Football Foundation, said: "On behalf of the Football Foundation I am delighted to be able to announce this award to Haringey Sports Development. The Football Foundation is committed to developing football as a force for good in society, uniting communities, promoting social inclusion and providing educational opportunities for young people throughout the country. Encouraging clubs to invest in their local community is one of the key aims of the Football Foundation.
