Danny Clarke - the first hattrick The first hattrick for Enfield Town Football Club was scored by Danny Clarke. He scored in the 2nd, 60th and 68th minute in a Foresters Essex Senior League match on Saturday 1st September 2001 away to Eton Manor. Enfield Town won this match 4-1. Kevin Riley - the second hattrick It was not long before Kevin Riley scored the second hattrick for Enfield Town on 29th September 2001 away to Sawbridgeworth in the Foresters Essex Senior League. He scored in the 19th, 28th and 34th minutes, making this the hattrick scored in the shortest space of time, namely 15 minutes. Enfield Town won the match 6-3 after being 1-0 down. Following Kevin Riley's hattrick, the score was 3-1 to Enfield Town. Danny Clarke's second hattrick Danny Clarke soon scored another hattrick. In the 6-2 defeat of Saffron Waldon in the Foresters Essex Senior League on 13th October 2001, Danny Clarke scored in the 41st, 67th and 83rd minutes.The scores after each goal were 2-0, 3-1 and 6-1. Danny Clarke's third hattrick Danny Clarke scored yet another hattrick on 20th October in the Foresters Essex Senior League match at home to Basildon United. Enfield Town won this match 4-0. Danny Clarke made it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Then after John Ridout had made it 2-0, he scored from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute after he had been pulled down, and completed the scoring in the 87th minute. Jamie Morris Jamie Morris scored his first hattrick for Enfield Town on 3rd November 2001 in a home match against Brentwood in the Foresters Essex Senior League. Enfield Town won the match 6-0. Jamie Morris opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. After Danny Clarke had made it 2-0, Jamie Morris made it 3-0 from a freekick in the 37th minute. Danny Clarke completed the first half scoring. Jamie Morris then scored his third goal in the 67th minute, and was substituted in the 70th minute. John Ridout completed the scoring in the 73rd minute. Danny Clarke's fourth hattrick Danny Clarke scored yet another hattrick three days before Xmas Day on Saturday 22nd December in the Foresters Essex Senior League match at home to Burnham Ramblers. Enfield Town won this match 4-0. Danny Clarke made it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Then scored from the edge of the penalty area in the 28th minute to complete the first half scoring. He then crossed for Danny Alleyne to score in the 62nd minute, and completed the scoring in the 80th minute from a penalty after he himself had been fouled. Danny Clarke's fifth hattrick After a slightly longer gap, partly caused by match postponements, Danny Clarke scored another hattrick in Enfield Town's first ever match in the Middlesex Charity Cup, away to Hampton & Richmond Borough. Enfield Town won this match 3-0. Danny Clarke scored the only goal of the first half in the 28th minute. Soon after half time, he got his second. That was in the 49th minute. He completed his hat-trick in the 90th minute. Stansted - the first hattrick against Enfield Town The first hattrick against Enfield Town Football Club was scored by Des Thomas of Stansted. He scored all three from the penalty spot in the 1st, 42nd and 71st minute in a Foresters Essex Senior League match on Tuesday 30th October 2001. Enfield Town were playing at home. Stansted won the match 3-0, but then two of their players spoiled the creditable footballing performance of the whole team by dancing in a racist manner to celebrate Danny Clarke's red card in the 76th minute.
